Who are WE

Our Mission

At Reboot Occupational Therapy, we’re passionate about helping children and adolescents grow into confident, capable, and resilient achievers. We know that every client is unique, and so is our approach. That’s why we take the time to understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and goals so we can create therapy that’s truly personalised, fun, and meaningful.

We believe in working closely with families, educators, and other professionals to support your child emotionally, physically, and socially. Our mission is simple: to empower our clients with the tools they need to participate fully in everyday life and enjoy the journey along the way.

Why ‘Reboot’?

The name Reboot was inspired by the idea that everyone deserves a fresh start, a new perspective, and the chance to reach their full potential and grow in their own time and own way. Just like rebooting a system gives it renewed energy and clarity, our approach aims to refresh, reset and gently guide each child to feel empowered. We’re here to support those pivotal moments of growth, confidence, and breakthrough, when a child goes from “I can’t” to “I did it!”

The star in our logo symbolises every child’s inner light - unique, brilliant, and always deserving to shine. It also reflects our belief in celebrating even the smallest achievements, because every step forward is a star-worthy success.

Annelise Lead Occupational Therapist

Annelise Colosimo

Hi, I’m Annelise! I’m a qualified occupational therapist with a deep love for working with children and families. Over the years, I’ve supported children with a wide range of developmental needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and developmental delays.

At Reboot OT, therapy is not only effective, it’s engaging, playful, and built around your child’s unique strengths. I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach and believe that progress is most powerful when families feel supported and involved.

I’ve also completed additional training to deepen my practice, including:

  • Traffic Jam in My Brain (Genevieve Jereb): Sensory strategies to support regulation and focus.

  • Therabrushing Protocol: A sensory tool to improve body awareness and calm the nervous system.

  • Quickshifts (Sheila Frick): Auditory tools for emotional regulation and movement

  • Trauma-Informed Practice (Kim Barthel): Understanding behaviour through a lens of connection and safety.

  • DIR® Floortime: A relationship-based play model to support social and emotional development.

These approaches help me tailor therapy to suit your child’s individual needs, making sessions more meaningful and effective.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors, playing sports, spending time with my family, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I’m so excited to be part of your child’s journey!
