Our Services
Empowering Little Achievers – Wherever They Are!
At Reboot Occupational Therapy, we believe children thrive when support is consistent, engaging, and matched to their individual needs. Our clinic is the heart of our service, purposefully designed to provide a fun, structured, and distraction-free environment where children can learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
We work with children and adolescents aged 2–19 with a range of developmental and emotional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor challenges, handwriting, mental health, and physical disabilities.
While clinic-based therapy is our primary mode of support, we also offer occasional in-home or school-based appointments when clinically appropriate, and telehealth options for added flexibility.
CLINIC-BASED SESSIONS
A welcoming, purpose-designed space for structured therapy sessions using fun, engaging tools and resources. Ideal for children who benefit from a routine-based setting or prefer one-on-one time outside the home or school.
Perfect for handwriting & fine motor skills, sensory exploration, goal-based therapeutic play and more.
School & hOME SUPPORT
We believe that collaboration is key to meaningful progress. We work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure your child’s support network is aligned and informed.
We understand that support may be needed in the home or school environment. In these cases, we offer short-term or one-off visits to help build consistency, troubleshoot challenges, or support the transfer of skills into everyday routines.
By working together across settings, we help ensure your child’s goals are supported both inside and outside the therapy room.
Telehealth
For families who live remotely or prefer flexible options, we offer online OT sessions. These can include parent coaching, review sessions, visual schedule planning, or interactive therapy activities tailored to your child.
What We Help With
Every child has their own unique way of seeing and interacting with the world. At Reboot OT, we support children to build on their strengths, while developing the skills they need to feel confident, regulated, and engaged in everyday life. Our approach is always affirming, playful, and grounded in understanding neurodiversity—not changing who a child is, but helping them thrive as they are.
We support families with:
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS plans
Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plans
Private-paying clients (no referral required)
-
We help children feel stronger, more coordinated, and more confident in their bodies through fun, play-based movement activities. Whether your child avoids playground equipment or loves to move non-stop, we meet them where they’re at to support balance, core strength, and motor planning.
Examples we support with:
Bike riding, ball skills, and playground play
Balance and coordination
Postural strength for sitting in class
Crossing the midline and body awareness
Enjoying movement in a safe, supported way
-
Sensory processing differences are a normal part of neurodiversity. We work with children to explore what feels calming, alerting, or overwhelming to their sensory systems and create supportive strategies that help them feel more regulated and in control throughout the day.
Examples we support with:
Supporting children who seek movement, pressure, or oral input
Navigating sensitivities to noise, light, texture, or touch
Creating sensory-friendly routines and tools
Building sensory diets tailored to your child’s needs
Helping with focus, calm, and transitions
-
We help children better understand and express their feelings, while building tools to navigate big emotions and social situations. Using playful, respectful strategies, we support your child to feel safe, confident, and connected while honouring their individual communication style and processing needs.
Examples we support with:
Identifying and communicating emotions
Building confidence in social interactions
Coping with change, transitions, or uncertainty
Practising flexible thinking and perspective taking
Supporting positive self-talk and resilience
-
We support children in developing the strength, coordination, and confidence they need for writing, drawing, using scissors, managing zippers, and other fine motor tasks. Whether your child finds writing tiring, avoids drawing, or has difficulty with letter formation, we make learning these skills fun and meaningful without pressure.
Examples we support with:
Pencil grasp and pressure
Letter sizing, spacing, and legibility
Cutting with scissors
Managing clothing fasteners
Building hand strength through play
-
We support children to feel more capable and independent in their daily routines whether that’s getting dressed, toileting, brushing teeth, or managing the morning rush. We take the pressure off by using visuals, routines, and sensory-friendly strategies that support success, not stress.
Examples we support with:
Dressing, including buttons and socks
Toileting independence and hygiene
Handwashing and toothbrushing
Packing a school bag or organising belongings
Managing morning and afternoon routines
Mealtime support and feeding
